The Kings Restaurant

The Kings Restaurant is adjoining the historic Maitlandfield House Hotel in the Riverside Quarter of the county town of Haddington.

Food at Maitlandfield is firmly based on fresh seasonality, from the first spring Lamb, North Berwick Lobster moving through the year to Venison and other game.

Our menus are constantly evolving, encompassing modern techniques and trends whilst also revisiting things that have been long forgotten. We are also a firm believer in using what is on our doorstep whether that be local suppliers in East Lothian or Scotland. Our menu below is supplemented by daily specials.

So from informal to formal, fine wines to ‘a friendly drink’ we are sure you will find something to wet your appetite at Maitlandfield Houses.

BREAKFAST: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 10.00am

LUNCH: Monday to Sunday 12.00pm - 2.30 PM

DINNER: Monday to Saturday 6.00 PM - 8.30 PM (Sunday 12.00pm - 3.00pm)

SOUP & SANDWICHES: available all day
