New Year Breaks in East Lothian Scotland in 2012

We would like to invite you to join our 2012 Scottish New Year "Scottish Hogmanay" at one of Edinburgh and Lothian's better known hotels, the Maitlandfield House Hotel Haddington. Enjoy the warm friendly surroundings, comfortable accommodation, delicious food and a true sense of Scottish hospitality.
Arriving on Sunday 30th December 2012
Check in at leisure from 14.00hrs onwards. Settle into your room and familiarize yourself with your surroundings. In the afternoon you may wish to order a traditional Scottish Cream Tea or take a stroll exploring the historic town of Haddington.
Dinner will be served in the brasserie grill from 18.00hrs until 20.00hrs when you will have a chance to join other guests.
Monday 31st December 2012: Start the day with a buffet breakfast. Enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure exploring the best of the Lothian's. Take a gentle drive through the area visiting the picturesque
fishing villages and coastline into Edinburgh with it's attractive and interesting
shops and galleries returning in time for the evening Hogmanay Ball.
Arriving on the Monday 31st December 2012
The evening will start with a welcome champagne and canapies reception from 19.00hrs followed by the pipe major piping you into the Great Hall Ballroom for dinner when a three course dinner will be served followed by dancing to the night's entertainment. The music to suit all tastes some ceilidh, waltz and current hits. At midnight the piper will once again play for you and bring in the best wishes for the new year. Dancing will continue until 1am when traditional stovies will be served.
Breakfast on Tuesday 1 January 2013. Wake up to a sumptuous buffet breakfast, served in the brasserie between 8.30am
and 10.30am.
- New Year's Day Lunch - Is an additional option and we would recommend you book in advance, it is served from 12.30hrs to 14.30hrs. Menu choice of 2 or 3 Course Lunch
New Year's Day Buffet Supper: At 18.30hrs a supper buffet including a dessert will be served in the brasserie
grill and coffee can be taken in the lounge in front of a real fire. (Non Residents are welcomed @ £22.50 per person)
Morning of Wednesday 2nd January 2013: A hearty breakfast will be served between 8.30am and 10.30am before you journey home with our very best wishes for 2013.
